Go To The Water by Mary Louie
Water, we call it Mother Earth’s blood,
her nourishment to her children;
“the blood of life” . . . and without it we’d never survive.
So we need water, and when we’re weighted down
with a lot of grief, your life is becoming unmanageable,
or a lot of pain, the first thing our grand- mother and my
aunt and my mother would say, “go to the water.”
The Cherokee have a purification ritual called the
amo:hi atsv:sdi: “Going to the Water”.

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE WATER
The PEARL Project, People Engaging in the Arts Rejoicing in Life is the invitation to gather together in ceremony, uniting humanity as we co-create a vibrant world for the 7th generation and beyond. The heart of the PEARL will elevate those who have become culturally marginalized, focusing on severely deprived youth. 51% of our budget will support the Iowa Network Against Human (Child) Trafficking and the National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA) dedicated to the well-being of American Indian children and families.

We ALL have purity within us, the "child energy".
The pearl is precious . . like the little girl whose daddy
kept asking her as she was growing up, “When are you going to let go of those old plastic pearls I gave you?” When she finally resigns and gives them to her father,
the next morning on her bed stand
she discovers a perfect set of real pearls.
Give up the old in order to receive the new . . .
the precious gift. Prepare. We are entering the new!
Wild pearls, natural pearls are rare.
The Latin word for pearl literally means "unique", attesting to the fact that no two pearls are identical.
